Open-access Statement

Essays on Religious Studies is an open-access journal that provides immediate and free access to its materials. We uphold to the principle that free access to academic research promotes the global exchange of knowledge.

All journal articles can be freely read, downloaded, distributed, printed, or used for any lawful purpose, provided that authorship and the source of the original publication are acknowledged. The Creative Commons Attribution International (CC-BY)) license allows for the broadest possible dissemination of academic content.

Authors retain the copyright to their articles but grant the journal the right of first publication. Authors also agree that their articles may be used in accordance with the  Creative Commons Attribution International (CC-BY) license.
