Анотація

The collective monograph Ukrainian Christianity in the Digital World: Challenges and Prospects, edited by Andriy Smуrnov, contains a detailed analysis of the impact of various digitalization tools on religious life in Ukraine. Nine scholars from different disciplines examine the experience of Ukrainian Christian churches during the COVID-19 pandemic and the Russian-Ukrainian war, analyze existing models and methods of religious communication, the role of the preacher in virtual space, and other topics. There is also a dedicated discussion of modern terms that have entered the church sphere of application, such as digital theology, filter bubbles, metaverse, online Eucharist, religious virtualization, eschatological adrenaline, and digital immunity. The last contribution of the book is devoted to the future of the Ukrainian Church in the technological world.
